The Red-White-Red Card is a points-based work and residence permit with different criteria for key personnel, shortage occupations and very highly qualified applicants.
The EU Blue Card for highly skilled employees and the EU Intra-Company Transfer Permit are also available.
The Betriebsentsendung applies to third-country nationals posted to fulfil a service contract. For postings of less than four months, the Entswendebewilligung may apply. A posted worker notification is required for workers posted from within the EU, the EEA or Switzerland.
