Information
The Single Permit allows residence and work for one employer for over 90 days. The Highly Qualified Employee or Director subcategory is most used. For Directors, the minimum salary required is considerably higher. The Specialised Technician subcategory applies to transfers of three to six months for assembly, start-up, repair or maintenance of an installation or software manufactured or supplied by the employer abroad.
For stays up to 90 days, only a work permit is required.
Employers posting workers to Belgium must register the assignment details with the Belgian social security authorities via an online “Limosa Declaration”.
