The Local Hire Stay and Work Permit for Key Positions applies to locally hired third-country nationals. The EU Blue Card for highly skilled employees and the EU Intra-Company Transfer Permit are also available. Some temporary assignments are permitted for up to 90 days in a year with a Work Authorisation Certificate. This usually applies for fulfilment of contractual obligations to a Croatian client company and is limited to management and supervisory board members; individuals giving or receiving professional training; and activities related to the delivery; assembly or service of machinery and equipment. For foreign workers remaining on home country contract, a posted worker notification is required.
