A Temporary Residence Permit for Employment requires labour market testing, an application to the immigration authorities (OCMA) for an invitation letter and a residence permit application at the relevant consulate or, if applicable, post arrival in Latvia directly to the OCMA. Visa-required nationals must obtain a D-type visa to enter the country. Finally, all applicants must visit the OCMA post arrival in Latvia to provide biometrics and finalize the process. The EU Blue Card for highly skilled employees and the EU Intra-Company Transfer Permit are also available.
